So OJ is innocent of his last charge/crime and should be set free?

Let's put it this way, nobody but OJ, John Gotti Sr., John Gotti jr., or Joran Van De Slught would have been put on them serious charges for that kinda chupid incident.

If what bigzack is saying is true, and only those high profile people get put away for.... 'that kinda chupid incident', then those poor fellas must be so lonely in jail

Nobody was roughed up.

Nobody was threatened with a gun.

But if you stole something from someone and they came to get it back, of course you wouldn't find it "chupid".

That's serious.

How could they be lonely when they get to mix with real criminals that actually planned to arm themselves with guns and go and rob people of things that did not belong to them?

O.J. is where he belongs..... with his own kind; too bad they kar throw all of his earthly possessions into the cell with him, the ones he thought was so important that he had to go commit a crime to retrieve.

He may have walked the streets (sorry drove) in fancy cars, wore designer suits, used fancy colognes, hung around with 'the beautiful people', but deep down he was, and always will be ..... a thug, a bully, a liar, a cheat, a murderer, and yes..... an armed robber.
Good riddance; however the system was finally able to put him away matters not to me.... the end justified the means.

Well Snowbird, you seem to know more about OJ than I know.

I know absolutely nothing about him.

That's so true! American justice wanted to put OJ away for a long time, even if it meant finding him guilty on trumped up charges. This was revenge, no doubt about it! The prosecutors charged him with kidnapping, for crying out loud! However, OJ has no one to blame but himself for his latest brush with the law.

This is the charge filed by the chap who was robbed:

……Fromong told police officers that "five black males entered the room" after Riccio left. One of the men was Simpson, according to Frong, and two of them had handguns. Fromong described being assaulted and threatened with guns pointing at him during the altercation……….

LOS ANGELES — A key witness in O. J. Simpson’s trial in Las Vegas acknowledged to a Nevada investigator that the former Buffalo Bills football star paid him off, the investigator told a judge in Santa Monica on Friday morning.

The investigator from the Clark County, Nevada, district attorney’s office said Alfred Beardsley admitted that Simpson gave him his Hall of Fame ring in exchange for altering his testimony to help the defense.

“I asked what did you get to change your testimony,” said Bill Falkner, who worked with prosecutors building the armed robbery and kidnapping case against Simpson........
