apparently if you stay at the resort, you can get easy transport into town, and the shopping is good. a friend of mine went this carnival and stayed in the capital itself in a guest house and had a great time.

let's organize and go!

hmmm...ok, but no sneaking in meh room like the last time.
I hearing all kinda thing. some say the shooping eh good, jus poor quality stuff. some say it good. everybody say the food eh so good. i hear the hotel nice..well, the pools. lewwe wait and see what the forum say.

I went in July...I was in Lagunamar ...that was meh second trip to dat particular resort...it was great...as for the shopping I don't think its good...lots of knock off...the brands are very exspensive...in fact I find clothing(quality) cheaper in Trinidad but that is just my take...did get a good deal on a pair of clarkes shoes ...it cost me $91.00 US ...if you do decide to go don't carry traveller's cheques..cash preferable...also the stores give you the best exchange rate...DO NOT change money on the streets.Lots of counterfeit.

i went in september in laguna mar,the place nice 1st time i wenti didnt leave the hotel..some people tell mih the shopping not all that an is a good thing i didnt go cu it aint all tha..its like trini flee market selling low grade stuff you cant sell in the store,i guess you jus have to look around to get a good bargin.i heard all the brand name stuff expensive..

I went to a resort last year which was quite good. It was all inclusive , which is good to some extent. The alcohol was not any fancy stuff, it was cheap hell cheap whiskey, vodka. The only good thing was the rum. The shopping is good, but there is alot of knock off imitations which they sell. Outside the hotels the restaurants are cheap...and good food too. Street side vendors sell the best empanadas...
