With Jack Frost making a nightly appearence, pretty soon all I will have left of my 2008 Summer Garden are my memories and my pictures......

Snowbird, if yuh see plum tomatoes this year..............I coulda feed a small county with them fruits! One night ah frost and all meh tomatoes gone black and shrivelled.
Probably use about 25% of available produce. What ah waste! :roll:

Becasue of waste, this year I scaled back and didn't do a vegetable garden (all my kids have large ones in their backyards) instead I covered up the beds, and just used some pots to set up a small garden for the grand kids..... the three year old (who loves to putter with me), had a great time ....tending her garden..... check it out.

Are those fuschias in your hanging baskets?

All mine dead already cause it so cold now...

Thanks, and yes I do have a helper, she wants to help with everything; my name for her is 'Princess Underfoot' :)

Well dey probably wilt and crunchy by now with yesterdays frost like mines did, you got some snow yesterday .....yes? It's a shame to see so many tomatoes, peppers and okcro go to waste. Wish that I could have save the peppers, but did not have the time or the help like you did :lol: ( she so cute !) to bring them in. I was doing battle trying to find any 'bottom' for a tropical dish garden I planted earlier in the year. No way I was going to let that wither :roll:

Oh I have no doubt Spring will come again, but unfortunately 'Winter' have tuh come fus :twisted:
