Christmas Decorations Up Already

I went to Trincity Mall on Monday 15/10 and was so surprised to see Christmas decorations up already :?
When do you all start with the decorations and Christmas preparations?

Yeh I saw the decorations up 2 weeks ago in Trincity mall...i was appalled....Christmas has just become a long advertisment... :x

Yes it does look nice. I really like tht Tree with blue decorations.
They might be the first Mall in T&T with decorations up.
Am a regular in Gulf City and they got no decorations up yet.

The tradition in my family is to put up decorations after divali, but that's just my all-inclusive, totally race and religious tolerant family. :D

Well no decoratiosn up here as yet but they are putting up the street lights...dem twinkly things dem so far in my borough and I am sure a few other boroughs have done so as well. Mind you they talking about Global Warming and Carbon Footprint but for every bulb that they light up and leave on over night until next year February it will be just adding to the already damaging effects.

fuh real. i get real pissed walking thru homedepot and kmart bout 2 weeks ago. just a season to spend/make alott of money. they had decorated trees side by side near halloween blowup props and decorations. :x

Capitalism aside, it looks pleasant.

I enjoy walking through the mall and looking at the decorations. I don't feel pressured or misled to purchase anything.

I see halloween stuff beside christmas stuff on sale in stores in the UK. That mall's decorations are too early.

Decorations are up everywhere in the malls, office buildings and around people's homes

Yes after Diwali people have started with putting up the decorations.
We have our tree up already.
But see the thread was started in October.

............and I did not put up any yet. This is unreal for me because my lights would have been up come Diwali. Something don't seem rite this year................gosh to put up and then take down........help!

Does anyone buy lights every year,don't know if I so bad lucky but every year when I go to put back up lights half doesn't be working. :roll:

My decorations always go up on Dec 1st. I am big on Christmas, so this yeah I am shooting for 30000 lights, 10000 more than last year.
