Allyuh doh like drag racing?
Well, I happy for the folks. Hopefully it will mean less racing on the roads.
Anybody knows how much racing costs and how one is inducted into the circle?

I not into drags.
But this is great I hope they utilize it and stay off the public roads.

Releases from Trinituner:

After visiting 19 airstrips in T&T, TTASA managing to secure a one year license to use the active Camden airstrip from the Government.

Restrictions/Conditions have been outlined for parking, track layout and proximity to fuel, use of trackite, safety measures, race regulations and emergency landing considerations and procedures. They were agreed upon by TTASA, NHSL, Briko and Civil Aviation.

The license can easily be revoked if conditions are not met etc.

Prices:
• Comp Fee (cars): $250 - 1 driver pass, 2 crew, 1 racecar, 1 support vehicle, temp FIA lic.
• Comp Fee (bike): $150 - 1 driver pass, 1 crew, 1 bike, temp FIA lic.
• Additional Crew/Pit Pass: $50
• Comp Tent 20x20 - $300

• Spectators: $40
• Kids 12 and under: FREE

Saturday
Gates open @ 9am
Scrut from 9am - 12noon
Free Practice from 12-1pm
ET Qual (bracketing) 1-5pm

Sunday
Gates open @ 7am
Free Practice 10-11am
Racing Comp 1-5pm

Scrutineering will be done at the scrut. tent by Frankie Boodram and Joe Nanan. Cars that fail scrutineering will be asked to fix and meet requirements on site, or leave the pits. Competition numbers will begin from 150 onwards.

• 11s

• Fastest 4
• Fastest 6
• Fastest Rotary
• Fastest V8
• Fastest Bike

Don'ts, No-No's and Protocols
Approximately 100 entries will be entertained + 50 service vehicles on the grid. No glass bottles, drinking of alcohol or smoking will be allowed in the pits or on the grid. 1000 ft. proximity restriction to fuel and chemical tanks. In the event of a required or emergency aircraft landing, persons are to assemble at the safest point (muster), if necessary leaving vehicles behind. Racers are to sign waiver/entry and are at their own risk on the track but must comply with marshalls instructions and the rules of the day.

Safety Specifics for racers
No armless shirts, no short pants, no slippers or sandals. Proper shoes, racing suit/attire, gloves recommended. Helmets, 5lb Fire Extinguisher (properly mounted) and good seat belts are MANDATORY.

Roll cages will be according to FIA regulations. 12s (11.99) and under - Roll bar or 1/2 cage, 11s (10.99) and under full cage required. Racers are to note that a grace period is in effect until 2008 when the roll cage rules will apply.

cos neone who wants to talk about drags, just goes to trinituner. No need to talk here and there.
