i wore braces and my wisdom teeth came in while i was wearingretainers. it was agony i spent days at a time in tears. i was about 18 when they fully broke skin but they started peeking out when i was about 16. i couldn't talk or eat because of the swelling even up to now it still gives some trouble

Did you know that dentistry is well on the way to be nothing more than ," teeth Cleaning" in Sweden?

These folks have taken such great care of their population's teeth and educated their population so well about

their teeth that dentistry shall be reduced to teeth cleaning...check it out!

If I had the opportunity I will have set that as a priority for TNT...educate and educate and educate the

population on how to care for their teeth and one day dentistry could be reduced to ," teeth cleaning!"

When I was in secondary school I wanted retainers. Not braces, but retainers. I thought they looked nice.

My first wisdom tooth began showing at 14, it took years for it to finish coming up and by the time I was 21 my last wisdom tooth was up. If there was any soreness I did not notice it since my teeth had so slowly eased themselves out of the gums and I had enough room for them. I rarely spend much time at the dentist. He usually says, nice teeth, gives me a polish and I leave. There was a time I had a cavity though since my premolars and molars are really close, making flossing challenging. I've had people grumble about my oh so perfect looking teeth

All my wisdom teeth were growing sideways (read: instead of coming straight up, they were moving directly towards my other teeth like so I<-- ). They found this out when they took a X-ray of my skull. Long story short, they dug into my gums and ripped out all four.

Then they stuck braces on me (no pain). I ate everything I wasn't supposed to and then some.
Teeth got straight.

Then they took them off. I was given retainers that I NEVER wore (painful).
On my first return to the orthodontist, he said I must be wearing them during the day too (was just supposed to be night) because my teeth were near perfect. I told him I never put them on and he was shocked. That was the end of my orthodontic journey.

My wisdom teeth all came out straight. no problem on that front.

I just finished invisalign treatment to close a small gap between my front teeth. I'm wearing retainers but I really dont need them.

heheh

Wow! Had no problems what so ever with my wisdom teeth coming out. They are all out now and my dentist say's they are perfect. Don't have bracers either. Whew! Ah lucky!
