View Full Version : STRICTER GUN LAWS HAVE SOME CREDIBILITY

It seems to me that upon a check of the gun crimes against people and businesses it is

a very tiny number of legal gun owners who ever had a chance to successfully defend

themselves against the gun wielding bandits( who usually shoot their victims by ambush!).

It seems to me that there has been an public outcry against the British Ideas with

respect to crime in this country. It seems to me the best people to make the determination

about gun control in TNT is the people who have to face the numerous amount of guns

and gunfire and gun violence in TNT on a daily basis.

If you hear a tyre "bust" you running for cover so it seems sensible to me to take away all

the guns from every sportsman and business person for a period of five years and as for the sports people

they should leave their guns in the Police Stations before and after practice and the hunters could chill a bit

and let the wild life catch itself again.

The point here being only Security Guards ( who should not be allowed to take the Guns home) Soldiers and

Police should have guns for the next five years.

There shall be no amnesty. Then let the police and soldiers go out there and rid the country of Guns and the

Gun dealers.

It takes away from the crooked business people who are the ones with the knowledge to import guns

and do they ?

I think it makes since to take all the guns away! Ask the Police!

And the irony of your suggestion is, its the security guards who are usually killed for their weapons, not the businessmen or sports ppl.
So denying hunters their guns with which some of them make a living, but leaving security guards with theirs, hardly makes sense.

Harry Williamn
08-27-2008, 05:52 PM
Yes it makes great sense.

Security Guards are killed for their guns when they take them home which I stated should not be allowed.

How often are security guards killed on the job just for the guns?

Check your facts they are usually killed if at all in the commission of a crime. The Criminal will hardly ever

kill a security Guard for the Gun itself!

If the security company keeps losing guards on the job it will not take long before they are out of

business.

How often do you hear of an Armoured car robbery or a police officer or a soldier robbed of their weapon?

How often do you hear of a Guard and Emergency or Special Branch officer or an Army Officer or Police

Superintendent or Prison Commissioner robbed of their weapon?

Why ? Cowardly criminals and superior training so if the Security Companies do not want to spend money to

hire and train Security officers to be the best of the best you get what you pay for!

Actually Harry, most of the reported cases that I know of is guns stolen from killed security guards while they were on duty. In fact there was a policeman in the news the other day who was teaching a swim class or something and had his gun stolen. Lets for argument sake say that my memory is faulty and that is not the case, how many hunters/sportsmen u know who have been killed for their guns?

Harry Williamn

Well, then why not give everyone a gun or as many guns as they want ?

I'm sure in light of your self-professed expertise u can answer that one yourself. ;)

Targs, I hope that is not a part of your 18 month plan yes.

My view is that the laws in TNT need to changed so there is swift and severe consequences for anyone caught with an illegal firearm, and also for anyone caught using a legal firearm in an inappropriate manner.

Harry that arguement holds no water, not even here in Canada where we have played around with that idea of 'gun control'.
Truth is, legal guns do not commit crime, its the illegal guns.

Criminals are resourceful enough, if they want guns, they know exactly where to get them.

Harry Williamn

Have you ever wondered who are these people who have " Legal Firearms" ?

I am excepting Police Officers,Prison Officers Soldiers and On duty Security officers.

Who are these people and what in their Character, demean our, accomplishments, mental

stability and mental make up and their psychological profile ...what gives them the right and

the ability to bear arms in TNT ?

As for hunters, they have hunted most of the game in TNT to extinction at worst and very near extinction at

best! They do not make a living from hunting! Check the Tax Records and see how many Hunters have

declared " Hunting Income! "

So tell me what gives some Citizens and Legal Residents the legal right to bear arms and others who have

absolutely no criminals records nor criminal history and are completely sane are not allowed to bear arms?

The vendor selling Roti,Ice Cream.Coconuts,Souse,Pelau, mauby and rock cake etc needs to protect

themselves from the Murderers and the ordinary citizen needs to protect their families and their homes also!

Are we going to deny them that right or are we going to value their lives less than some business place

and their cash and goods ?

You see it is a question that you all never really ask because some people are simply reacting to whatever

"buzz" is out at the moment!

If a business person could have a gun to protect the business then any Citizen can also be granted a Firearm

to protect their families and their homes because as current criminal events have shown even the police have

a hard time protecting themselves from gun-men and gun-women...even the courts are no longer safe...

check out the Arima court house shootings!

So the argument for or against gun ownership is not as simple as it seems if we are going to accord everyone

equal rights as laid out in our Constitution!

So do your research and come correct when you coming to this Forum via any topic which I have laid out!

Personal attacks and attempts a humour via ridicule does not change the facts so with the wisdom of the

ages personal attacks shall not have any replies from me!

Like I have always said: " The Target Remains!" You have not even scratched it!

Amelia
08-28-2008, 07:08 AM
Oh gimme a break! Target meh tail!
What the heck is your arguement?
That everyone should have equal opportunity to gun ownership?
That we should equally deny everyone gun ownership?
Its the policemen and the security guards who go around shooting themselves and their loved ones in soured relationships.
Its them who 'lose' dey guns or are killed and have it stolen.
So maybe u're the one who needs to do the research.

LOL Harry.

like you forget when it was discovered that Arima Senior Comp students were manufacturing guns in the school workshop ?

what guns laws go do about that ?

bring it on- give innocent hard working people a chance to properly defend themselves!

give power back to the people and less to the bandits!

The only good gun control is hitting what you're aiming at.

Harry Williamn

Reality is extremely difficult for Cowards to face...when cowardice and fear drives your decisions and your

ideas you fall in the realm of this: " One hundred fools cannot make a wise decision nor can One Hundred

Coward Generals ever make an Heroic decision!"

I am fearless and have been well trained in the use of firearms and (80)% of that training ( if you had proper

training by professional trainers you will know this ) was in SAFETY in the storing and use of that Firearm.

Each of you know exactly from where you speak: Cowardice or Bravery.

I speak from a position of Fearlessness because I am not ever afraid ( as far asI know ) to die for what I do

believe in ...what about you ? Is there anything that you are prepared to die for ?

What do you really believe with respect to gun Control or who ,why, when, should anyone have a legal right to

have a gun ?

Maybe if you try to speak from your heart without fear or without anger or without your ego and its possible

need for attention by seeking to be ," humourous" ...but speak from your heart then you may be able for once

in your life .....you may be able to speak your true feelings with some measure of intelligence on a

very, very, serious, subject ,which involves life and death.... and a TNT Citizen and Legal resident and Legal

visitor's right to defend themsleves when the Government seems at best unable to protect them and at worst

some will say ,a Government which does not give a damm!

It is your call to wisdom, cowardice, bravery, truth ,or just plain stupidity!

P.S.: Not one of you can say which side I am on for or against on the Gun Issue....am I for arming the citizens

or disarming everyone or arming some and disarming others ?

trinisuckz
08-29-2008, 07:36 AM
it is simpossible to disarm Everyone.

currently it seems as though every little wanna be bandit has access to a gun, and they are willin to kill for somethign as silly as a goldchain.

When youre HOME and someone is feverishly attempting to get into your house, your telephone lines cut, police calls going unanswered, and these youths threatening that when they get inside yuh house they will harm your family.
WHAT other alternative means of serious Protection for your family do you have?
many neighbours do not help for fear of their own lives and famalies!

ONE bullet or 2 and the threat to your family is over!

Harry Williamn
08-29-2008, 10:01 AM
Trinisuckz: It is difficult to contradict your argument for arming those who want to be armed to protect their

families but some will argue that Americans have Guns and people in Iraq have lots of guns and yet the killers

still strike at will ?

The question they shall ask is what proof can you offer to support your arguments to arm folks to protect

themselves and their families ?

trinisuckz
08-29-2008, 11:13 AM
Harry given OUR current crime levels, the amount of innocent hard working businessmen that are being robbed at gunpoint and the fact that every youth seems to have full access to an illegal firearm should be reason enough for citizens to bear arms for protection, provided that anyone who has applied for one be made to go through an extensive Firearm course.

Then again im also open to the government making provisions for other protective devices that currentl have no governing legislation - Tazers, Stun guns, MACE, pepper spray. etc............
Electrified burglar proofing!

Trinisuckz:

It seems to me that the focus seems to be always leaning towards the protection of the Businessman and I

may ask the question : Why ?

It seems to me a large segment of the population sincerely believes ( be they wrong or right ) that the so

called businessmen are the ones who are indirectly and /or directly responsible for the poverty and suqalor in

which some people live in this country because the very said businessmen are the ones who ( with the help of

crooked politicians and crooked governent officals) have been robbing this country blind for decades

( remember the 55,000,000,000 US dollars of oil money and where did it all go?) and now they are reaping the

fruits from the seeds which they have sowed! That is what they believe.

Some people also believe that many of the guns used in the shootings and the killings

are not sold in stores here ,nor are they issued to security companies nor the police or soldiers.

Those guns are in large part brought in by people who know how to import stuff and how to beat the law

and get around the customs and bring in those exotic but deadly guns...are you saying that these half

educated idiots who are so foolsih as to commit murder for a flipping gold chain or a couple hundered dollars

are you saying that these idiots have the brains and smarts to import weapons into TNT ?

I am not saying anything just asking the questions....seems to me that most people ( including the police)

believe it is the same crooked and corrupt and greedy businessmen who import the guns and making as

much as eight thousand percent profit on those guns...it is great for their business ( if that is true ) but

why do we alway seem to focus on them since they seem to be getting richer and richer except for the poor

"ketch hell" fella with he little parlour or struggling grocery store!

Seems to me that the big fat cat businessmen do not get robbed nor shot because the criminals seem to be

strangely passing them by and ( like it or not it is a fact ) going for the Indian fella with he small business and

the vendors and Taxi and Maxi drivers and small bar owners etc....seems strange to me..what about you how

does it look ?

So who is more in need of protection ...Mr and Mrs Millionaire or Mr and Mrs.ketch hell ordinary Citizen?

snowbird
08-29-2008, 04:59 PM
...... going for the Indian fella with he small business ......

Well Harry my man, it took yuh ah darm long time tuh get tuh dis. Now my piece.

My 'Indian' relative runnin rong dese days wid ah heavy aluminum baseball bat we jus send him (at his request); we made the request after he got robbed, right in front of his business in St. James.
The flaw in this story is the fact that he was not robbed by a hooligan with a baseball bat, he was robbed by a hooligan WITH AH GUN. What we should have been sending him is A BIGGER GUN.

Chances are, the next time someone tries to rob him, he is going to wheel that bat, but unfortunately, the bullet coming towards him, will probably make contact with his body long before his bat makes contact with the bandits head.

Its time to LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD HARRY, give a gun to everyone who needs one.

Ah done.

Harry, so ALL hard working businessmen are corrupt?

So ok- say we take down these businessmen and bring them to justice as you say, what exactly is our economy going to survive on? CEPEP?

I know of quote a few Businessmen who work very very hard, for what? so that they cannot enjoy what they have worked for because some lil ghetto youth wants it more than him, prepared to kill for it and indeed HAS a gun,
How is this equal?

Level the playing field, its a FACT- if more people who NEEDED and wanted fireamrs for genuine protection got it, and almost every day a bandit would meet his last breaths attempting to rob them, things would change...................

Currently bandits have the upperhand, many times when a bandit gets shot by a liscenced Holder , its almost as if the person who used it in self defense ends up being on trial.
And then what do our courts do? Release them on BAIL so that they can go and seek revenge.

Re: STRICTER GUN LAWS HAVE SOME CREDIBILITY
Harry, so ALL hard working businessmen are corrupt?

To answer your question (TRINISUCKZ) (a) You are asking the question and I never said that but I am saying

this: All corrupted businessmen are not hardworking but are CRIMINALS and should be behind bars and down at

Carrera Convict Prison doing Hard Time.@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

So ok- say we take down these businessmen and bring them to justice as you say, what exactly is our economy going to survive on? CEPEP?

If we took down all the corrupted businessmen and women and their corrupted political and governmental

contacts we shall put a deep irreparable dent into Crime and the Honest and hardworking business people will

have a level playing field and the country probably will not need CEPEP but shall have honest employers who

need honest and competent employees and our country will flourish and grow in peace and prosperity like the

Cayman Islands and TNT shall be well on the way to becoming a nation which does not need Policemen with

guns on the Street Like the Cayman Islands ( you know the "Small Islanders")
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@

I know of quote a few Businessmen who work very very hard, for what? so that they cannot enjoy what they have worked for because some lil ghetto youth wants it more than him, prepared to kill for it and indeed HAS a gun,
How is this equal?

I never said anything about Robbery and murder being equal but I am saying how come (55,000,000,000) U.S.

dollars are not accounted for and businessmen who suddenly became Multi-Millionaires overnight and all the

under hand deals and schemes which when they come to light are tied up for years in Commissions of inquiry

and no one is after their butts but every one is after the hide of the "lil ghetto youth wants it more than him"

is that equal ?
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Level the playing field, its a FACT- if more people who NEEDED and wanted firearms for genuine protection got it, and almost every day a bandit would meet his last breaths attempting to rob them, things would change...................

And then what do our courts do? Release them on BAIL so that they can go and seek revenge.

Currently the corrupted business people and their corrupted political and governmental contacts and police

allies (It seems to me ) are the ones who have the " Upper Hand " because no one is going after them and no

one is talking about them at all so they operate with abject immunity from prosecution and investigation and

no one seems to even mention these stinking pieces of " number two" while they contribute continuously to

the destruction of our TNT....and you say give them guns ?

They already own several guns and the police and the corrupted politicians.....do you recall some years ago

Dr.Elias was ( by a Foreign Doctor ) alleged to have punched this Doctor in her face and she went to the Police

station and made a report and she alleged that the police told her," Dr.Elias ???" I am not taking that report!

She had a witness it was her husband another Doctor...what became of that case ?

What if it was the ,"lil ghetto youth wants it more than him" ?????

I do believe I have answered your questions as best i could and still leave the

Target as it was before you came at it.....It ,I am sorry,Remains still

SNOWBIRD: I humbly suggest that you please,go down to the Various Court Houses and observe the racial make Up of

the Victims of Rape,Incest,Robbery With Violence,Armed Robbery,Gun Shot Wounds,Murder,Kidnappings,House Breaking,

Burglary,Buggery,Auto Theft," Choke and Rob"," Lock Neck Robbery,", " Snatch and Run,Bank Fraud,Identity Theft,

and purse Snatching and Coward Tax ( TNT lingo for Extortion) and Usury.....

I can assure you that you shall discover that "RACE" does not determine the choosing of victims but how vulnerable they

appear to the Cowardly criminals.

The reason you find more East Indian Shopper keepers are robbed is because there are far greater number of East Indian shop keepers than any other

Race!

Then look into the Jails and look at the make of the Criminals....there are as much people of east Indian descent as

people of African descent and very often they work together!
