instead of a strike encourage people to make positive contribution to Trinidad & Tobago. Urge them to be logical instead of confrontational. Encourage them to take advantage of programs at their disposal. urge fathers to support their children because they may need their children as they age. Urge people to respect life.

Actually, I'd encourage ppl to not sleep on their rights - be more litigous.
The things I does see ppl begging for - things they entitled to.
New motto - we will sue your ass!

Of course, with the court on vacation..... ;)

Seriously though, striking has its place and is needed to effect change sometimes. Its not usually the first course of action so it signifies that attempts at amicably resolving issues has not worked.

People of all races, religious backgrounds, social strata, and political affiliation should get together and boo all the members of the gov't where ever they appear in public. This should be done as often as possible for one month. Boo them when they going to parliament,boo them when they leaving dey office, boo them when dey going to dey office, at every possible opportunity. If only the people could just unite for one month and do this, somethings must change. This has to be the peoples' protest. NO POLITICIANS INVOLVEMENT.
