No Cell fone on you when voting

So EBC announce tht they would not be allowing cell fones into the Polling Stations.
I want to know how they wud know someone going into the Polling station with a fone?
And they say this but yet they haven't yet put measures in place to collect the fone and return it to the person when they leaving the Polling Station.

Is it a total ban on cellphones or is it like when you pass through US Immigration and they just tell you turn it off?

From wht I read on Saturdays Guardian and was told it's a total ban on the Voters entering the Polling Station with their cellfone.
So they saying they want to do something like how they do it at the US Embassy in Trini where they take your cell at the door and give you a chit and when you leaving you collect it.
But EBC havent decided on how they going to do this yet...they make decision and ent work out the fine details. :roll:
So they dont know if the Police wud collect it or if they wud hire and extra person to collect it.
But with such small fones these days and with you not actually searching a person how wud a person know whether you carrying a fone or not? :?

i anticipate that this will be a badly managed issue, that will lead to more election irregularities.

EBC need to have poster in all Polling Stations stating :
TURN OFF ALL CELL PHONES .
Violaters will be evicted at time of incident .
Violaters can rejoin the line and be allowed to vote as long as they comply ..

humm...ah could just see the loser on Nov 6th complaining that ppl were allowed to go into the voting booth with their cell fones, and therefore the election was unfair and demand a new election :evil:
