God’s Point of view surpasses mans’ view – True believers understand this.
While I do support the introduction of Christian subjects at the University of the Southern Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago, I am not at all, in support of “forcing religious beliefs on anyone?”
Nowhere in The Holy Bible did our Lord, Savior and soon coming King force HIMSELF upon any person. The University of the Southern Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago is doing quite the opposite of Christian standards/ethics, teachings and theology.
Our Christian standards are many, but the key principle in our standards is to respect all men, regardless of their background(s). Everyone deserves chances.
How does the University of the Southern Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago expect to reach “all men”, when they are clearly discriminating against all that they are supposed to be upholding?
Not only now (2008), but before the government of Trinidad & Tobago opened the door to such programs as gate, the University of the Southern Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago, was strictly a Seven Day Adventist institution, however money outwashes God at the University of the Southern Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago, this is not the doctrine of Jesus Christ.
Studies and Religious subjects can be thought in the same institution; however there must be freedom of choice. If I want to study Law only, I shouldn’t have to study any religious topic if, “I choose not to”, why must the University of the Southern Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago force “there will” on me or another?
I brought up the same theory about studying law at University of the Southern Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago with 1 lady who is a Seven Day Adventist who visits the church on campus and another who is a Seven Day Adventist & teacher at the University of the Southern Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago, they both agreed/said that if I want to study law and not the Seven Day Adventist teachings, “Well then you should not come to the University of the Southern Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago, your choice is not to come”
I am glad that someone in The House of Representivies has noticed this hidden ungodly force in Maracas, St. Joseph.
This isn't only a case of discrimination but also the times we live in where a religious body is forcing "there will" on people.
Must I be a Christian to teach Law? If the person isn't a Christian, why not invite them in (as we are supposed to), then in steps show them how we Christians are to live, teach them about Jesus, “small steps can turn into huge steps and become a life changing experience.”
?
I ask that University of the Southern Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago stop making the choice for the unbeliever and allow him/her to make their own choice, as God would have it. There is no scriptural reference for discrimination nor is there any scriptural reference for someone to make the choice for someone else, each man must make his/her own choice.
The Holy Bible – John Ch. 6 Vs. 70 - 71
70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? 71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
What I want to share with you Dr. Trevor Gardner is that Jesus chooses the people HE believes are qualified for the task ahead.
Jesus knowing the past and future history of Judas, still kept him within the 12 disciplines, why do you think that is, Dr Trevor Gardner?
Well it’s really simple, once you understand not only how Jesus works, but you live by HIS teachings, HE left Judas in the 12, to show us that people will be different from us, there will be people outside the “Truth”, but we ought not to shun them out but embrace them as Jesus did.
If they refuse the light, then let it be a matter of their choice and not us condemning them by judging them. They will answer to God on that day.
We are all people, I just as you make mistakes but we can all correct them; I have no ill feelings towards you Dr. Gardner, I just want you to see my friend and understand what God wants from those of us who are in the “THRUTH.”
I have given you the truth as Jesus would have it, what you do with the truth is now left to you.
