Has anyone had a Boomer sub yet? I went to check out the prices and I was amazed at how Booming expensive they were. A Turkey 6" at Subway may cost u no more than $20.00 But at Boomers, they go for around $24.00. Until I taste Boomers, Pricewise they are no match for Subway.

I just realized that when I went to purchase my first one yesterday. I am now a proud owner of a Boomers card! Well I bought a BBQ chicken sandwich (6") combo with extra cheese and pineapple for $39.00. I still found it a ripoff!

They have a mango sauce though that is worth trying.

one thing i find iffy about boomers is their meats...

they always take out some pre-packaged portion sized frozen meat and microwave it....
subway on the other hand has their meats in one of the heated warmer pans ready to serve....

which is healthier? which is more prone to bacteria?

true. but is that really healthy?

junk is junk - even if it is put on lettuce and branded as 'fresh'...

i think psychologically i prefer the non-pre-packaged, not-to-be-microwaved chicken in subway!

I guess it would be - the university has really strict regulations on the food ppl that operate there it's all under one company called Sodexho and they have to make sure everything is up2 good standards

but, doesn't subway import their meats?
wouldn't that mean it would have to be in cold storage at some point and reheated?
or is it just microwaving you're objecting to?

i doh like the fact that it's pre-cooked and then reheated.
i'd rather it be cooked from scratch...
