I remember hearing this complaint in past elections, but I haven't read anything like this in 2007, does that mean that the media, including the state owed TV stations, are giving equal & fair coverage to the three maiin political parties this time around ?

in terms of TELEVISION, i find that they are. particularly CNC3 (CNC3 Early Morning and The Big Story) and TV6 (Morning Edition and TV6 Extra).

i haven't really seen many of the candidates in the C studio, but they do have live reports and interviews from various nightly meetings on Campaign 41. They have assigned specific reporters to track the 3 main parties. They also recently added a programme at 11.00am daily, which is supposed to focus on candidates, but I've never been around to see it.

i have not seen many candidates on WIN TV except jack warner and basdeo panday on The War Room.

of course IBN is purely COP, but inshan ishmael is too annoying to watch and in my opinion he takes away credability from the party rather than adding to it.

i've seen a few opposition candidates on Gayelle (Cock-a-doodle-doo, New Voices and Treeay) but i have not seen any PNM candidates on the station as yet.
