Hi, I joined this forum as a recruiter. I am looking for feedback on a project to bring health care workers to the USA.
Does anyone know of any agencies in the Caribbean. I am located in Maryland outside Washington, DC.

I look foward to talking with everyone.

Helen

Well Ms helenwilliams60.....you and I know that yuh just can't go to the Caribbean or anywhere else in the world to bring people to work in the US especially health care workers. First of all they will NOT be adequately qualified nor would they have a license to practice in the USA. Now where is the link to this "project" you might be refering to? :?

Trinidad and Tobago has 10% of the health care professionals when compared to other countries of similar development status.

Perhaps you should look elsewhere for health workers.

I'd like to see a source for that. I find that claim to be very unbelievable.

On a related note, there are more doctors coming back to T&T these days, thanks to the stricter visa regulations (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article707786.ece) put in place by the UK last year. IIRC, John Raheal was making statements to this effect close to the end of his term.
