View Full Version : One foot in TnT and the other in .................
Since my family like to go back and forth between Trinidad and the UK we have to face some country dilemnas. My Grandmother is now ill and close family care isn't working with relatives in TnT so she's being brought to the UK. She had hoped to live out the rest of her life in her home in TnT. At 85 with heart trouble now its the cold yet again. Managing house refurbishment from abroad is another problems. How do others manage?

my dad is getting married on tomorrow and here i sit in the uk suffering from a bout of the cold and depressed that i can't be there to stand at his side.
Family means everything to me and this is the greatest disappointment ever but...sigh! I eh go die and as long as he have someone to take care of him until death do them part..I am much more happy for that than paying for a ticket and all that drama.
If anything happens to my mother in Trinidad though....is so long London...eh nothing keeping meh here...and I MEAN NOTHING!!!
KFCs, I didn't even get to my grandfather's funeral. Yes we can't attend every event with our relatives. Juggling relatives and countries is not easy. My mother is preparing to move back to TnT for good in 6 months so my grandmother has just some months of cold weather. It looks as if there will be more frequent trips to TnT for me in the future. At the moment I'll just take advantage to seeing my grandmother face to face now.
