View Full Version : BENEFITS OF USING OLIVE & GRAPESEED OIL
Know of any... i've heard a lot on olive but not a lot on grapeseed oil but i've heard that it is beneficial..

well on the negative side, it isnt as healthy as olive or rapeseed oil.
on the plus side, the flavour isnt a strong one, so it can be used as a slightly more expensive alternative to groundnut oil in a stir fry.
there are scientific papers on the health benefits of both.

my doctor told me don't burn olive oil...to as soon as i heat the pot and throw in teh oil, to throw in whatever else too..

From what I heard grapeseed oil is better to cook with than the other cooking oils

I though they use grapeseed oils for skin care :?
well i've been doing some research and found that they both are beneficial to us rather than the other cooking oils...
Grapeseed oil is for skincare as well .. it helps with the rejuvenation of skin cells...
So i went out and bought myself a bottle of each :D

just today I saw a triple Michelin-star cook Heston Blumenthal using extra virgin in a bolognaise......so it's really confusing now.....
