i guess 'blink or you'll miss it quarry' had to make the news sometime.
i went to school here and my father also taught at this school.
this school had the best teacher, miss coolman and the most not so best teacher (that's about as diplomatically as i could put it) mrs lum kin. she still scares the hell out of me.
i don't understand why they had to block the other children who were going to school in siparia....so some of those students had to miss their tests.....

apparently that's what you have to do to get things done nowadays. there is no such thing as being proactive.
I say go ahead and protest if it get things done....but ppl can use their common sense in the process...why deprive other students.... they cld have allowed the bus to pass before starting the fires.. In my opinion, they were being selfish!

VAIO honey, one of the prime (not crime) purpose of 'protest' is to disrupt the normal order of things. If people, simply stood by street corners carrying placards, and it's busuness as usual, that would not be an effective method of protest ?, would it? . Hence, teachers march during school hours. Can you imagine teachers protesting on weekends, doctors protesting on their days off ? They could protest till thy kingdom come, and nothing will be changed.
