Chill out.
Is that comment directed at me or is it merely a written expression of some sort of frustration you're experiencing? Clarify man, clarify.

I agree. You can't change the past, but you can make your future....well take control of it...to an extent.

This is especially relevant to ... well, you'll know who you are;
The school had a unique problem:
A group of 12 year-old girls was beginning to use lipstick. They would put it on in the washroom. and then, they would press their lips to the mirror, leaving dozens of little lip prints.
Every night, the maintenance man would remove them and the next day the girls would put them back. Finally the principal decided that something had to be done. He called all the girls to the washroom and met them there with the maintenance man.
He explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night. To demonstrate how difficult it was to clean the mirrors, he asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required.
The custodian took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it.
Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.

I agree with this actually. It was a pretty rough time for my family and I used to be freaking out about how I would do my degree if I couldnt afford it.

I wasn't rich but I had finished post secondary sch at 18 and got the job at 19.
So I been working since then and then started the degree am doing recently becos its only started being offered at uwi few years ago. I am putting myself thru sch and started 1st year not knowing how I was going to afford to pay for my other years. Then we got free education. :D
I wasn't rebellious etc and have nothing to regret and wount really have to feel I cud have done something better or different.

I am not an ambitious guy and I am pleased to be where I am today so I would not change a thing. I would tell that lazy 18 year - "Don't do anything, yuh on de rite track."
The only thing I would change is when my kids were young I used to complain that they had too many activities. But then again I used to be driving them around 7 days a week to attend them.
