I just finished watching the competition:

Anya is the new Miss Trinidad and Tobago for Miss Universe
Gabrielle is the new Miss Trinidad and Tobago for Miss World (she was also given the award of people's choice).

Preya did not make it and I am not surprised, sorry the girl is gorgeous but did not speak properly at all. :shock:

i happy with the results. i didn't find anya was all that but her answer to the question was fantastic.
it's sad that makeda fumbled with her question.

i think they made a good choice.

i read in the newspaper today that anya is the sister of pilar ayoung-chee, one of the kids killed in the 5 car smash-up on the CR highway in mid 2007. it must have taken a lot to enter the pageant after such a trgic loss less than a year ago...

^^^ really Syl? You all have such optimism when it comes to human nature.

Anyways, none of the women indicated in this event, though pretty as hell, were outstanding. Their personalities were not evident in a smile or mischievous glint. All in all they all suck big time with character or charisma.

Sorry, they are a batch of boring as hell women.
