Sorry but there can be no contest No Country for Old Men has won it hands down.
Then comes in a nail biting second place Cloverfield.
People if you ain't seen these movies because of feteing then it's your loss...I assume they are showing in Trinidad by now so go see them.
No Country for Old Men showed for a week at most in Trincity. I missed my chance. I also suspect it didn't last a week.
Cloverfield hasn't arrived yet. I planned to go look at that as well.

Here is the list of nominees in the most important categories. If Javier Bardem's name didn't show up I would have personally terrorised the Oscars. :(
cloverfield....is supposed to be opening this wednesday....finally.

Has anyone looked at Rambo? I saw the trailer online last night and I was praying that it was another actor doing a remake. Even though the first movie Rambo First Blood does not need any makeovers. I was highly disappointed that Sly was reprising the role.
Dese ole men eh!

It's close for me between No Country For Old Men and Atonement. I loved NCFOM and Javier Bardem's performance is one for the ages in my book. Atonement was so well done and and a twist at the end worthy of The Sixth Sense.

Taiyed because of your praise for Atonement I am gonna go get it. I was avoiding it for so long.
If I was close I would have high-fived you for Javier Bardems movie and I say his movie and not Tommy Lee Jones because he made the movie great. These Oscar people is rubbish. But he on meh desktop right now fuss ah love he tail.

Saw Rambo last night. Got me thinking about the cruelty of man and how we worrying about carnival yet countries like Darfur and Burma and Sudan dying under ruthless evil men.
Also, watched part of Jumper ...not too thrilled. Saw Alien v Predator part 2. Was shouting at everyone on the tv including the damn Predator...so he cuddnah call for help?
Watched a movie called In the name of the King...rubbbbbbish. Also a movie called Awake with Jessica Alba...interesting TV movie but I guess it will be in cinemas soon.
