I'm feeling pain over murders too

National Security Minister:

Juhel Browne jbrowne@trinidadexpress.com

National Security Minister Martin Joseph says he feels the pain of every family who has lost a loved one due to the record high level of homicides in this country, but is confident that law enforcement will get control of the gang violence blamed for most of these crimes.

"I am feeling the pain too. The Government is feeling the pain too," Joseph said yesterday................

He did a good thing here. After such a long time faffing about, he finally did something positive.

Snowbird yuh too cynical! :P If he didtn give a soundbite your thread would have been something like 'why is MJ so silent'.

no Martin. you stay right where you are. There is no reason for you to leave as PNM has won this election fair and square.
Also, not a damn seat for the COP.

COP...this is what you wanted. Martin is staying.

Au contraire Falc. He hasnt exactly done anything that we can take comfort in. Empty words arent exactly what I'd call doing something positive. What the public would like is feedback on what kinda progress, if any, we've made and what initiatives, if any, the Ministry has taken.

Let's face it - Martin is not committed, only involved.

The difference between involvement and commitment is like the bacon and eggs breakfast - the chicken is involved but the pig is committed.
