best vegetarian restaurants in trini?

anyone got suggestions? Doesnt have to cater to vegetarians, but must have a large selection of no-meat dishes.

Particularly interested in getting pita, hummas and sangria. anyone know where i can get tht in trini. olive tree?

There are a lot of restaurants where you'll get vegeration versions of their usual fare but simetimes the best thing to do is to cook it yourself...

I looking for novel things. New experiences, new places to explore. I appreciate the best thing to do is cook yourself, but that's not really what I'm looking for here.

The place doesn't have to be 100% vegetarian, but it needs to have enough dishes and variety so a vegetarian doesn't feel out of place. I had a bad experience with TGI where my mom (who is vegetarian) had nothing to eat but side dishes. :s:

I took her out to Chinese Dragon/Big Apple on SS Erin main road and Jenny's Wok in south so far (she picked). Decent vegetarian selection -Brocolli, Black Mushrooms, tofu prepared in various ways. She wants me to pick a place now and doh think we should do chinese again.

I eh call Olive tree yet. Waiting till its closer to next time (their menu changes every day apparently) :s:

Why don't u just ask her to give u a list of places she likes to go out and eat? And just pick one and take her there. That makes life a whole lot easier for u. Honestly I doh feel there are any resturants in tt that serve a variety of vegetarian food. What type of vergetarian is she, does she eat seafood or is she a strict vegan?

There is a veggie place at Ramsaran street chaguanas, after center point mall if heading west (on your right hand side). They serve strictly vegetarian dishes, but only trini-indo type food. I doubt they would have pita, sangria or hummus, but they do have good roti :p
