yeah boi greg, i surprised too. I think they had failed here because people wouldnt pay big money for their burgerrettes and skinny (aka shoestring) fries. But now since burger king and even those overpriced crappy-food places like TGI seems to be doing well, McD's might have a chance this rounds.

They left because it was expensive (compared to the size of food). I used to get my Big Mac and fries every Friday evening by their outlet in Westmoorings. They always had good clientele there so I was surprised they didn't at least left that one open. KFC literally kicked them out proving that this island is a chicken lover island...

i read on tuner that mcd left d first time because the rent was too high. apparently they own d land or something now (?).

i not interested in mcds. Every one of those foreign chains i gone in it, is d same thing... d prices real hot, d wait real long and d food not worth it. I feel they just selling the brand, not d food.

which I always thought was weird....they usually adapt to the region they are in. Why didnt they increase the chicken options on their menu?

IIRC, they sold McD's fried chicken coming down to the end. Wasn't too horrible from what I remember.

Hmmm, so they feel they can make money now? With what menu I wonder. I usta love their hash browns - actually their bfast menu. And that's it - it wasn't great. I really doesn't matter if the come back nah. Like BW said, it's like they sellin d "brand".
