I saw it in news last night but can't find it in any of the newspapers.
I saw tht people were breaking into the empty NHA houses in their area and moving in without any authority. :o
They were saying tht it's in their area and it's meant for them and why it empty so they wud just move in.

Am also seeing inmany of the NHA areas tht people are moving into these houses and even doing renovations and I've never heard when these houses were allocated. Like in the settlement by Tarouba it all occupied and one even has a Grenadian flag flying but I never heard when they were given out.
In Corinth in Orchid Gardens people have moved in and construction is still going on and yet I've never heard when these were given out also.

Sure it was ppl of the area doing that? I saw on the news last night that some Wallerfield folks were upset with ppl breaking into the homes and living in them and even though the police removed them, they come back. I think the residents threatened to do the same since they in need of housing too.

Amazing how ppl comfortably break into a home and move in like normal, put up curtain and thing. No sense of shame? Or is it merely a feeling of entitlement?

Yes, Serenity, it's that feeling of entitlement propogated by self serving politicians on every side of the political divide. sigh !!

Ok this cud be it. My mistake

But why do they see it as the right thing to do ? If it good for one then it good for all kinda mentality?

I saw that the people actually had all their furniture outside under a tent. So tht means the broke into the house lock, stock and barrel and boldly living there. :o

See? Thats what I dont understand...Charge the ppl with something! If they had to deal with the legal ramifications of it they wouldnt take the chance. But as it is, there are no adverse consequences to this behaviour, so why not? Steups. Ah find ppl does get away with too much of this nonsense.

Anybody know if they caught or charged any of the persons who blocked the eastbound lane by the beetham and were robbing ppl on Saturday? Same thing again, ppl could do this thing in broad daylight bec nobody in authority is going to do anthing about it. Imagine these ppl orchestrated this roadblock just so in the middle of the day and not one word on how many were caught or who was responsible. Imagine what could happen closer to Christmas and Carnival when ppl need more money or drivers have more goodies in their vehicles after shopping in town.

This is what happens to a society in decline when the Laws are breaking down.

People who squatting does get lights, water, fone etc faster than a person who owns their own land and have a deed so they ent care abt tht.
They are squatters so they wud just leave their squatting houses and break in and move in. 8-)

It ent matter if they are voter padders...the time for registering for your area has passed so they can't now want to come.
The point is they breaking and entering and living in and no1 is doing anything. :?

People admit it, you live in a lawless society; do something about it.
You have an election coming up in a few weeks, you have politicians falling over each other trying to talk to you, go to the meetings and rallys, but don't just go for a free Tee-shirt, the jump and wine or to hear some paid Celebrity say a whole lot about nothing; dont' let those hopefuls talk 'at you'; make your time there count.

Political rallys are meant so that you can ask questions, if they talk too much, get your question out in the form of a 'heckle'. " Aye Patrick, how come all yuh people move into dem houses in Wallerfield?". " Aye Patrick ah eh know yuh send out house papers already, ah see all dem houses done full ah people". Interrupt their propaganda with your heckling

snow,

Like you expect the typical dependent PNMite to heckle Patrick at a rally? These folks live for the freebies, just ask Brian. PNM governments know what's important to their supporters and have delivered just that over the decades. Now, the other folks who reside in Trinidad, and are not on the receiving end of these handouts, know better than to heckle Patrick during one of his love-ins. They'd be safer crossing a busy highway.
