As a female who dates, I was wondering when do men really take us seriously when we laughingly say no to them about things or sex in general? Or are there different degrees of the word meaning NO?

How is a man supposed to know which context we mean in a situation of say...perhaps...the both of u getting frisky in the couch and you just wanting to make out but because he taking your actions to mean "Wayhayyyyy she wants my love tool" . Then you, apply the breaks and say no trying not to offend or upset so it comes out timid like or less reassuring to him.

Some women do say No and what they really mean is Oh Gawd yes but are we expecting men to be too intuitive and know the difference?

I am sure there are soooo many views on this all of which I am dying to hear, so people please respond. :geek:

No means no when u say no. Especially when it comes to something like sex. If one is concerned about offending the guy then it makes sense to follow the no with a reason, like, I feel its too early in the relationship for sex or I'd prefer to take it slowly with the sex thing etc. But u should say no like u mean it.

Another thing, without even verbalising no, a person's body language could say it for them. So when u bring his hand back up to more acceptable zones, he should get the picture. What may be confusing is when u saying no but your hands moving on him saying yes. U hadda mean your no, otherwise u just playing games.

Remember the Will Smith Movie, "Hitch" ??

Tehre is a line in that movie where Will Smith's character says " When a woman says NO, what's she's really saying is TRY HARDER STUPID"

I think lots of guys believe that, bec they have experienced this before.

Me, if a woman tell me NO, I done right dey.

No SHould mean no..everytime you say it...unfortunately some people don't mean it when they say it...hence the saying..."try harder"

but body language speaks louder than words....so don't expect your eyes or hands or lips to say "YES !" while your mouth saying 'no' and expect to be taken seriously.....

In this situation on the couch, when a woman says no i will realize that i have reached my boundries and go no further... However If eyes, lips, and hands say try harder it gets to a confusing in between where we (men) are not sure how or if to proceed.
So for me make it very simple tell me exactly what you me to do or more importantly what you don't want, and life will be a lot easier.

If you have no intentions of having sex then you should not intimidate the male testosterone. Do you normally go around teasing a bad dog?

Well KFC, even I thought you had a not-so-nice weekend when I read that this week........

Ok then, hypothetically, it is my view that NO does not in fact mean No with MANY women; in fact, NO means 'try harder, or pursue more intently to show something or the other'. So you see, when NO means that for ladies 1-500, and you happen to be 501, and it does in fact mean NO for you........then you must blame the lessons allyuh does learn on Venus, because I tell you, the messages does translate terribly into Martian...............phew!

When you get a man in TURBO mode, No means Yes, Yes means Yes, and everything else means Yes unless you throw a bucket of ice cold water on him. Then No means No.

Them women don't know about colaborating. They all have they OWN views. I represent the "rare species" of women ....if you will. NO mean NO and only NO and it couldn't possibly mean anything but NO.
