New Look for the forum

Allyuh like the new look?

Up to now, we cyar seem to view other forumites profiles and their posts on this new looking forum. Why is that?

The text is too small on some of the links. The lack of contrast makes it even harder to read them..

I haven't seen the format yet on a pc but on my BB everything is very spaced out and its hard trying to figure out where a new post starts and ends in the list.
Posting also taking longer.

I do not like the new look. It has nothing to do with my age. I am not old fashion. The light blue is little on hard on the eyes. Thr print on the old one was more BOLD. And the names on the old one were more pronounced. But like changes, i will get use to it. I like the addition of the cancel option.

I agree with Dancerboy here....I think they need to make the words like quote, pm and email bigger on the eyes to read. Dem ting too small for people with weaker eyes.

The forum seems as snappy as ever for me.

It could just be that the old forum was already stored (cached) on your harddrive, so every time you went there, it just had to pull the files off your computer (and not download it off the net). However, since the forum got updated, you would need to re-download all those files, so loading will be slower (at least initially).

Wolfman is working on the quick reply apparently. It was there for a little while, then he took it off. He also was changing about the theme much of yesterday too (much easier on the eyes now, though I still say the 'edit' and 'quote' buttons are pretty much illegible for people with less than 20/20 vision.

Its still a bit slow.
i dont mind the blue colour.
Am having trouble making post from my BB.
I made a couple of pot from the BB and I was logged out and also the post says it cannot be made.
Guess if tht problem persist I wud be here less. I also dont like the format the forum shows up in on a BB when I use the new post option. :cry:

If you wish at any time to use the old look of the forum, you may do so by setting your style prosilver in your user control panel. ucp.php?i=165 (http://www.ttonline.org/forum/ucp.php?i=165) . I'm working on bringing back the quickreply and making further changes to colours for easier use. :mrgreen:

I just tried the old style, but it looks so dated now.

it's a tiny 10x10 pixel button beneath the post, on the right hand side. Draw a straight vertical line down from where the "quote" button is, and there you have it.
