Why is it that in Trinidad even though a walkover is provided, there are many idiots who rather rish life and limb and the life of drivers to run across a highway?
What are the legal issues when someone is bounced down directly below a walkover on a HIGHWAY?
Doesnt Trinidad have laws that protect the drivers due to Illegal crossing ?
Ive often wondered what the legal stance is?

I've often wondered this when I see people trying to dash across the highway or waiting to cross the highway roads although they standing right under the walkover.

Heard there was an accident in deigo this morning causing horrible pile up...man knocked down.
The problem with our walk overs are that they are usually in incovenient places and take about 20 times the effort to use than to illegally jay-walk across the highway or main road.....
Trini can be so lazy and lawless sometimes...they prefer a policeman on the corner charging people that don't use the walk over before they use it.
I actually saw a dog using the walk over....goes to show..sometimes animals have more common sense...

Some of the walkovers here not to user friendly in their design. Like the one before saghs. It have so many steps to climb up and walk over and then steps again to climb down. Wht abt old people and lil chirrem and disabled people etc.

on jan 22.....which was yesterday....a man ridin his bicycle go knocked down under a walkover....in the same vicinity....luckily for him...he is still alive...
sigh......you just have to tell ppl everything in the world today......

My friend lil bro was killed while crossing the highway in Charlieville...but this was back in early 80's.....
I don't know if the walk overs were around then....but I think in the built up areas they should reduce the speed limit till you exit the area...
