Hi - I am new to this forum and have never been to Trinidad or Tobago.

But because of my middle name I have read a lot about the time when Thomas Picton was Governor of Trinidad, 1797-1803. I would be interested to learn more about that and this period of early British rule of Trinidad, and especially what might survive in the various archives in Trinidad/Port-of-Spain.
