A wobble in the earth's orbit is expected to cause a temporary shift in the magnetic poles today, that could disrupt all radio frequencies, including cellphones. This rare event only occurs once every 120,000 years. The phenomena will mainly effect regions near the equator and can last up to 40 minutes.

In Trinidad, it is expected to take effect from 1:32 pm today.
