In some thread on here we was talking about her briefly as she had attended an event in Trinidad the other day and She was the best dressed woman there by far. She honestly does look a little overweight (high BMI or however you want to define it). Knees kind of sharp too.

However, some people like a little bit extra to <3. The dress looks awesome on her, in my opinion.

Destra in a puffy dress, with skin like cafe au lait poured on silk and she curvy as hell (like what a bombshell and not exoskeleton should look like) she is gorgeous and groomed and she is all female in the heels minimum make-up and well chosen pair of heels.

What's more, I'm struggling to find anywhere in the whole entire world where that ultra-skinny look is held as being the standard of beauty.

Our societies favor 'fit' looking women, who are somewhere in the middle of being too fat or too thin. Women with big mammary glands (but not too big), and some buttock (but not to excess). Extremes in either direction are considered bad.

The anorexic look is most definitely not "in vogue". Look at any media article today, 9 out of 10 times, when somebody mentions "Nichole Richie", she is being laughed at or her weight (and not being shown as some center of beauty). Same with any other ultra-thin woman these days. We, as a society, don't like sickly looking women, and I'm annoyed that so many female posters here are perpetuating such a gross misrepresentation.

I am sorry but I worked for a designer for two years or more (not some unknown like Peter Elias) but a well known British/international one and I know what our model portfolios look like and what we hire from the portfolios, what look we chose and sought. I also was privy to sample clothes and all the sizes are and were 0. Some models even had to have extra fittings before London and Paris and New York Fashion week cause they were too fat for the clothes or the clothes just fell off of them. I am sorry but I have met Lily Cole and she is one of the highest paid British Models and International Models ever (see E's Top 20 list if you need clarification) and she is only 19 or so and she tail rail thin yet healthy looking to some.

It seems that society is seeing weight in terms of black and white. It’s either you’re skinny(rail thin) or you’re fat (morbidly obese). Where did all the normal sizes go? Whatever happened to just being average size? Personally I can’t understand a guy wanting to cuddle up to a woman whose all ribs, elbows, knees and just sharp joints. But hey to each his own I guess ;) . Another thing that seems to be popular is the muscled, totally ripped women. What’s up with the extremes?
