Burning MP3 onto a DVD

isn't the DVD burning in windows/osx installed by default now? You should be able to just burn it straight from the OS, assuming you already have drivers set up.

the bigger issue might be making sure your car deck or whatever knows what to do with a DVD full of MP3s.

how about going in another direction entirely and utilizing either a direct interface with your car deck (eg ipod/usb/aux line in) or using an FM transmitter (they are under $200TT with interface to plug in a USB key or portable music player that way you will avoid the most annoying features of a DVD/CD

but to answer your question yes plenty freeware available to do this i.e. all you need is dvd data burning software http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/gmm/fwcdburn.html example infraRecorder,
though do you actually have an MP3 aware DVD player is a good question.. or worse if you are thinking DVD Audio just don't bother

I doh know nah jamez. All I know is my deck does play cd and mp3.
I have the port for the ipod to lol

ipod port is de ting self, organize your playlists and just plug in,
if you do not have an ipod, then FM transmitter/MP3 player with a USB port could play a USB key loaded with MP3s and is less annoying to reload etc ...
