iPad 2 coming March 2nd

In an article about iPads in the enterprise published on Monday, we reported that Apple plans to unveil a new iPad as soon as next month. Now people with knowledge of the matter say that Apple will host an event on Wednesday, March 2 to showcase its new iPad. The people agreed to speak on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss Apple’s product plans. Reporters and other guests are likely to receive invitations in the next couple of days.

The new iPad is expected to be thinner, lighter and pack more processing punch than its predecessor. It is also expected to have a front facing camera to enable video conversations through Apple’s Face Time software, currently available on the iPhone.

In a sea of generic android tablets, the world stands still with bated breath to see what Apple will unleash to remain best-of-breed.

iPad 2 is coming, mark it on your calenders everybody.

tablets are a waste ah money and ting. Anything that can be done on a tablet can be done on a netbook. Netbooks and tablets serve the same target market.

Not that I've heard. I ent think Digi and BMobile has as current a network as the big US and European carriers.

Not many places sell iPhone, but there are some Apple resellers in town that sell them. It also depends on what one uses the iPhone for. If it's for internet, then I ent see no problem using it in Trini.

the rumor mill is also churning out new Macbook Pros are coming soon, featuring Light Peak connectivity.

supposedly apple is working on a smaller, cheaper iPhone version. They expect it to cost as much off-contract as the current iphone does on-contract.

that is rumor though.

there's also a curve touch and a Bold touch coming out. The bold touch (codename 'Dakota') is literally a bb bold where you can touch the screen.

Pricesmart online actually had the original ipad for a decent price :/ locally anyhow Apple 32GB iPad with Wi-Fi (No 3G) TT$4,399.99
so I guess look out for it there, after the initial rush and stockout's are over.. Japan situ may have some impact though
