The priest say that means that men in TnT will HAVE to have more than one woman

Are all men this dense? Are men using this as an excuse to go with every woman? As if they needed another lame excuse to do so. People does think before they talk? Apparently not. Sigh!

Well I think that most of the men that got killed were into crime and even though Hitler had Eva Braun and I know everybody needs love and must have a significant other out there for them. But geez...that doh mean I go start getting chronic because criminals got murdered and they happened to be men. I personally think the ones who should be shot still alive but that's just moi. :)

What are your views?

Go read the Guardian online article about man shortage as declared by the priest.

More rubbish published by the papers. Usually when you paraphrase someone, you provide the reader with Bess' direct quote, and the public can decide if what he said is what you said he said.

So I can't say anything about the irony of running a 'good parenting program', training up children in the way they should go, or resorting to unchristian abomination just because 'Trinidad have no man'. He may agree that it might solve that niggling over-population concern though.

lmao@ niggling over population. I was not aware there was one in trinidad :? lol!

So yuh see Falcon is only mad people we have with access to the media. He actually thought that and then gave an interview and said it where it could be quoted to all and sundry. :) Hilarious indeed the minds of others. Or should I say scary? :(

Doh scoff at a good Trini man eh SB. When I go out here I does miss de man who can move in sync with me. Ah tired dancing outta time here. I love a man with a sense of humour and a man that could understand what I mean when I use dialect. My boyfriend always going eh? what? when I talk too quick for him.

I love meh trini men dem even tho they faulty at best and we have some dat does make yuh wish yuh could neutralise most of them in one fell swoop but I eh go change them much nah.

What I will change is the mentallity of the people...that needs a lot of work!

BISHOP BESS is implying that, given the number of young men being murdered, there will eventually be a 'MAN SHORTAGE' (remember the jamaican song 'MAN SHORTAGE'). This is sound deductive logic. However, some of these young men who are being killed couldn't cross meh yard to talk to meh daughter. Would some of you ladies out there date some of these hoodlums who are being murdered.? NOTE, IN EACH CASE I SAID SOME. DANCERBOY

I would think that in Bishop Bess's profession he may have also considered that this is all part of the grand design by a higher power, a 'balance of nature' as it were; does Bishop Bess knows that his Creator also created a spices or two who eat their young, yet somehow they still exist.

Just presenting the situation from another perspective.

But it just occurred to me, if Patos continues with his plan to keep importing foreign labour then there shouldn't be a shortage of men; women may probably have to settle for men of another races, but if they don't mind, it looks like Patos plan may work out after all and Trinidad might be in for a brand new generation of Creole Chinee  .

perhaps a male shortage in TT but not on the interantional market. Why not import men from Indai and China where women are in the minority. We already importing everything else. That would create a special image for us, and perhaps a special place in the first world.

Is not that there is a man shortage! The problem is finding decent men who have some sort of decency and are dependable and who seeks to better himself!
If ah woman looking for any man, then any man easy to find!

Exactly a good decent man is hard to find. Like I tell my male friends you could open a window and pelt a rock and 9 times out of 10 find a decent woman. But for women you have to call out the marines to find a good man. Heck forget the marines you’d probably have to get those Canadian Mounties ent there saying is they always “get their man”? It’s not the quantity of the men that’s the problem it’s the quality.

either way....it means women either lower their expectations....or fight up for d same 20 'eligible' men with 200,000 other women....

recipie for disaster...

This is one of the reasons married men are in such great demand. Some women rather share a man than have none at all.
