Chevron to Pay $9 Billion

Chevron is to pay $9B for the mess they created in Ecuador. It is as though environmental laws do not exist in poorer countries. Very sad indeed!

This won't hurt Chevron, a year ago, the stock was trading at under $70, On Friday, it closed at $102. Investors are not worried about this in the slightest.
