If you have a choice to make between pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree which will you choose and why?

I'll probably do the BA to experience something 'different'.

But to the younger folks i could say that it depends on what sort of career you want. If you want a science-related career, do a BSc. Some science programs also offer management courses in their BSc program. I also know some folks with BSc's who did an MBA afterward, because their science base alone did not help them advance in their chosen careers.

To me, that sort of choice should be based on what the person thinks will make him/her happy, because a degree is a 3-4 year commitment and is most likely to determine your career path. A lot of people make their decision on the latter, particularly on the availability of jobs and earning potential.

I'd always advise Science. U can usually pursue either Masters with Science degree. But once u start off with Arts, u're pretty much stuck with it unless u start afresh with Science. That is of course, that u're adept at both.

I think Arts is more on passion.. maybe its worth giving a good thinking on business first then enjoy your passion on the later age.

Gate only pays for 1/2 tuition for mba, msc etc. And sometimes not all the courses are covered by gate.

strange question, the labelling depends on the discipline, ent? Can a performing arts degree be a BSc?
