Dread! Why it is I have these bloody two things - not just one but both! Migraines, thank God haven't gotten worse and my current meds seem to be working for a while now, thank God! It's still horrible doh and has me not being able to function properly. Sigh.... Now the bloody sinus attacks have just started over this year. It's mostly a pain in the back of my neck( especially when I bend forward) and pain in my face. Salt water to the nostrils help a great deal - but hell it hurts! So who else has one or the other or a combination of both like I do? What remedies do u have for them, what helps? And of course u all are free to dicuss ur issues with these two problems.

Hi Aurea,
This combination could be a lot of things, but I have a first impression that this could be stress related. The back of neck pain, leading to increased susceptibility to sinus infection, and the dreaded cheek pain. Echinacaea (sp?) helps I am told, and if you're looking for a herbal migraine remedy, Feverfew is supposed to work. Notwithstanding that, I can say definitively that feverfew doesn't work for me. How about some aroma/steam therapy to try and open the airways; and some mucolytics to bring everything down?

Hey Falcon,
Echinacea I use to help me when I have the flu, never used it for sinus. Will try next time. My sinus attacks usually occur when the weather changes(e.g. it's been raining here a lot recently and right now it's real hot - so therefor sinus flares up). Feverfew I've tried, doesn't work for me either. I'm trying to find new remedies :)
