I would love for my facebook to be a time capsule of my life, so that even when I die, friends and family can get an idea of what my life was like. :)

I guess it's like a photo album and a diary of sorts...only online. It can also provide a forum for friends and family in grief to post their thoughts and memories of the deceased ie on his wall.

One thing the internet ensures is that our mark on the world will be around and accessible for a long time after we have gone...immortality? Yes, perhaps in a way.

But what about the day when we can upload our consciousness and/or memories onto the web for eternity?

I wanted to reply to this last nite but was too tired. When I moved back to T'dad about 2-3 weeks after, this guy from University died in a boating accident. How did I find out? I saw all my friends joining this group on Facebook!!! saying "RIP..." and then when I checked his facebook wall I saw all these posts saying RIP Bruce etc - Infact, his a/c is still on facebook...and his friends still write and say stuff...this Christmas everyone told him Merry Christmas...So yeah...weird, but I don't have the heart to delete him...

There is a facebook group for the two kids that died the other night from a car accident...and a bunch of pics..
pretty sad..i think one of them has a f/b profile as well...

guess it is kind of weird to still have a profile but maybe a good thing also to be remembered
