Since I am in the middle of a career switch to medical...

I would say I wish I did

Drama ... there is a need to learn to 'pull a face'... when delivering prognosis
would have improve memory and oral skills
since the exams are now oral

Guitar... level of dual hand coordination needed in examinations and also ...
more equal strength in both arms... to apply pressure

Anyone interested in Dentistry,... I failed the manual dexterity test... doesn't matter how good your grades are, if you can't pass the mini peg board... you don't get admitted.

Sadly no one gives you this type of career advice in school.

it is like a peg board with small pegs I suppose the size of a child's teeth, less than a cm.. with different outlines, star, flower etc and you get a tweezers and you have to put them in.

I guess, even if you have an A in Bio and Chem, that does not mean you have precision fine motor skills so they trying to screen for that.

Steady hands.

.....very interesting.

I guess knowing that the mouth is such a 'confined' space .....especially a child's mouth ...it is imperative that they know right off the bat....if you can comfortably navigate in such a small area.... where your target is going to be even smaller objects.... and since this isn't something they can 'teach'...like you say, you either have the 'fine motor skills' or you don't.
