how alluh progress going? hope alluh on track?
ah finally gettin d hang of eating nuttin after 7pm. an like meh sleep does be deeper too, which is good.
only one "cheat" day for every two weeks. had 2 Tbl spoons ice cream a small slice of cake.
eat it realll slooow yesterday :D
i'll post those three great abs/weight loss links i had posted last week a little later.

ah find ah getting real nice results with the 30 sec rest between sets for abs. for regualar floor bent knee crunches my 1st set till failure is 35 reps 2nd set is 15 and 3rd set is 12. so whats alluh stats like now. ah curious. :)

Ok, only u guys wanna have great abs? I'd like to just have a flat stomach and just loose the baby fat. I'm trying 100 crunches, reverse crunches and some other stuff. I'm on my bike for about 30 mins. I exercise atleast 3 times a week for 1 hr. So is that good and am I gonna eventually have a flat tummy?

as long as you eating properly as well. small portions. lots of salad. lots of water. calaloo, bagie, ochroes are great. try not to have too many carbs. late at night if you hungry drink water or tea (with no sugar) instead.

Ok, I have a question. We making headway with the warm, soft middle area, aka belly. But this is how its hardening> Obliques first. So the the sides are toned but as u move inwards to the bellybutton area it gets softer and pouffy. Uh...ah hope allyuh understand what ah mean. I was just wondering if allyuh chubbiness exhibiting the same type of behaviour.

My goal was to get a 27” waist by Carnival .I measured today and its 28”. Originally my waist was 37” (yeah big huh) so being anything less that 30” is great. My goal looks in sight now; I think I’ll make it. I’ve been doing my 100 sit-ups on my exercise ball. Since my surgery which left me with a scar on my lower abdomen like a C-section my lower abdomen looks weird at least to me. Any women here who had a C-section know any exercises to tone back the tummy? It’s taking me forever to get any kind of definition or anything in that area. My upper abs are starting to come in but what’s the thing with love handles? I’m doing the broomstick twist often my gym instructor has me doing 400 of those and it’s barely helping.

from 37 to 28. thats great. i don't know for sure about the C section part, but i think leg raises will help tone back the lower abdominal muscles. and getting rid of those love handles...means getting rid of somemore body fat- meaning more cardio and reduced carb diet. spot reduction dosen't work.

Sly, if yuh buying protein powder, go for Whey Protein ISOLATE. dat should be d fus ingredient listed in "ingredients". high biological value (yuh go utalize more per gram protein). "Universal" brand (yellow label wit d bodybuilder shadow) has decent quality control in their products. good value. EAS Precision Pro too, but a bit expensive.

It is hard as hell for a woman to develop a six pack, right now i'm working on meh 2 pack we, lol, seriously woman are the hardest to lose weight in certain areas, unless you do like an hr a day on the thread mill, no cardio, no aerobics, no pilates... then when you lose weight, and have a whole bunch of saggy skin you'll be all mad...lol dey doh tell yuh dat in those commercials by the way... the way to go is to get a personal trainer, or see a doctor before you lose any weight, (by the way cardio, aerobics, and pilates is really good for you, i LOVE me some PILATES!! Men try it, it works!!) or attempt hint hint try to kill yourself to get those 6pac abs!!... Fellas know what i'm talking bout, you know you got a kag but you want wash board abs..LOL!!
Oh this is the lazy me, i doh want to read what i just wrote, so if i made any mistakes uhmm doh blame me nah, i doh care, that pilates got me drained lol :P

complete breakfast, then 1 serving of 8 Crix biscuits with 2 thin slices of cheese and half an apple or 1 serv fruit, twice a day till Christmas.
one high protein low carb shake only on gym days after gym.
chocolate and her legions are my enemies.
ah go take some two belly shots (front and side) for the "before" pics.

lol. d pic small for a reason :). 28 views yes. iz wha now? 2 weeks in d program. cardio 4 times ah week have meh face showing some definition. meh belt gone down one notch. on weekends ah does have some serious cravings for sweets. December creepin up fas fas.

you might need to use weights in the form of a medicine ball (5,8,15lbs) when doing your crunches, leg raises, twists etc. tension is good too eg. cable machines, and to an extent- elastic bands. But continiously increasing muscle overload safely will force your muscles to hypertroph as long as you eating enough protein.
for d rest of yuh body, try the 6 clean (no cheating) reps using max weight for 3 sets and see how ur body responds to it. when you can do 4 clean reps for 3 sets, increase the weight each time.

how alluh progress going? hope alluh on track?
ah finally gettin d hang of eating nuttin after 7pm. an like meh sleep does be deeper too, which is good.
only one "cheat" day for every two weeks. had 2 Tbl spoons ice cream a small slice of cake.
eat it realll slooow yesterday :D
i'll post those three great abs/weight loss links i had posted last week a little later.
judging by how many overweight people we have here in trini, seems plenty people have kegs and barrels more than six-packs. :D

About 5 weeks left. Been consistant with my cardio for the past 3 weeks. Clothes are getting baggy (good sign) but not seeing those abs yet. I know they're there.
Sly, you might wanna cut down on your cardio if you're doing weights but not putting on muscle or weight.

I will be in Trinidad for 3 weeks and wouldn't mind joining a gym on a temporary basis. I will be staying in Maraval, Maracas St Joseph and somewhere south near san fernando (I forgot the name lol)
What are the best gyms around those place? Do people know if they accept short term memberships or daily rates?

i pass through Ellerslie Plaza several times per week and never saw a gym :shock: :oops:

When yur stomach used to be fat you cannot expect to have perfect abs right away!! There is gonna be some flab and loose skin where the paunch used to be!! To get there and stay there reqiires a long term commitment! I have been workin hard on my abs for 2yrs and I believe this is just the begining!! I would consider advanced to be when someone can take a sledge hammer and break bricks on yur stomach or other feats of equivalent difficulty!! Too much processed foods and sweets is the main obstacle one encounters in ab sculpting. One has to continually scrutinize one's eating habits!! It has to be like a work in progress that is continually evolving!!

wuh! great job maribunta. yuh right about the sweets obstacle. When ever there is chocolate in the house, I just can't seem help myself. So I avoid going into the pantry- period. To exist is to be percieved. It really takes allot of discipline (and cardio). Every thing you consume must be a conscious effort towards achieving your goals.

Nah. I on d prog since late August. Found a nice balance between increasing muscle mass and strength vs. fat loss. Hittin d big 30 this yr, so I tink ah can pull off lookin 18 yrs old still wit meh baby face.

It going good. But d closer it comming to Dec 2nd I ent think I go make it for picture time.
8 crix whole grain
a thin 1/4" slice of cheddar cheese
1 bottle water
4x a day between breakfast and dinner really cuttin meh calories without feeling hungry. Crunch helps the psychological, and fat slows digestion and lengthens "fullness" feeling. Iz ah 36 waist now.
