worked for 4 years on Christmas day, and probably only realised it was Christmas at about 3 or 4pm each time.

I worked for the first 2 hrs of Xmas about 10 yrs ago. But more importantly, yuh getting double time?

SORRY FOLKS, BUT I EH WORKING XMAS OR NO XMAS. NO 'HAM IN DAT' .But i started working in 'DATA PROCESSING' at AMERICAN EXPRESS in 1974. while u folks were out shopping with the credit card, i was busy preparing the bills. There was no such thing as holidays. You worked as required , but you were well compensated. So hang in there, if u have to work the holidays. THIS TOO SHALL PASS. DANCERBOY

Better do it now while yuh can..........reap the rewards later! I have had my share of working on Christmas day and New years day! If I had too, I'll do it again.......not in snow and ice this time around doh!

nope......holiday for me and if i had to work....i'd call in sick or apply for the day...but some folks have to do it....

I never worked on Xmas or New Years Day, and the last few years I don't work on my birthday I always schedule to take vacation around that time

annual leaveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and thank God for the Government system here....i doh have to wuk on xmas eve. ;) being in a government wuk has it's perks sometimes. :D

I offered to cover the desk on xmas eve...i doh mind even tho i was on A/L i still geting paid for it.
