I'd prefer to spend my money on a laptop/netbook.

But how would you use it? And more to the point, how could you use that and drive at the same time?

some points ::
a. considering many of the features are in many cars and are not actually part of the computer and can operate independently, eg cameras, navi
b. it is an absurd distraction (between controls and screens, and features you could use, your attention is divided), more features more distractions
c. you can use a smartphone or mobile computer to give you many of those feature in or out of the car as needed
d. how much time do you really wanna spend in your car? I could understand if you have some sort of mobile command center you need to park up and stay in for many hours, but again you do not necessarily need to integrate it exclusively into a car, and inverter and laptop would do fine

is this thread spam and why are we replying?
shocked to not see a weird email address and US phone number with low prices and promises of fast delivery :blink

btw the answer is no son.. the market sucks ... strictly an idle DIY project but it would also make sense to have legislation against this sort of thing in non-commercial vehicles
another market is the rally/car performance enthusiast market but not for street use
