They still haven't found the body after one year, 12 men have been charged with the crime and the case is dragging on through the courts ever so slowly.

Sometime this year, there was that so called confession to a lawyer by three men that was printed in one of the daily newspapers, there was also the story of a woman who was charged for trying to blackmail Vindra's husband.

Some people even questioned weather this was a kidnapping gone wrong, or something else.

This all has the makings of a great mystery novel, just waiting for an ending.

Anyway, RIP Vindra.

Unfortunately this is a story without end. The only thing we know for a fact that the woman was grabbed, brutally murdered and buried soon after her kidnapping.

 RIP

As a well respected woman in the buisness community she used her influence to find summer and christmas holiday jobs for over 400 youths from the known high crime areas across trinidad. I dont know of the status of that project now, but i hope others in the buisness sector would continue with her vision.
Even if the justice system forgets about her, she will still live on in the hearts and memories of many.
