Does anyone teach or work on theoretical physics in T&T?

I dont know about Trini but I can get you some contacts in the Department of Applied Math and Theoretical Physics in Cambridge.

Thank you Falcon. I make take you up on that offer later. However, I'm hoping to find out what resources and who we have working in that field locally.

I dont think there are any in trinidad but you can try contacting the physics dept at uwi. Their website doesnt say much, and keep in mind the projects outlined on their website are all at the undergrad level. For postgrad level and beyond you would need to contact the dept.
I suggest contacting the head of dept, Dr Archong. Others who have been there for a long time are Prof. Saunders and Dr. Knight, they may (or may not) be able to direct you.

Thank you. I checked the link and look at the site. Had done so already, but searched a bit deeper this time. Closest I can find listed under their research areas is
Theoretical Astronomy: Statistical analysers and model building in areas of large scale structure of the universe and studies of quasars.

Personally, however, I am more interested in particle physics than in astronomy; even though linkages between those topics can exist. I don't know if I'm the only one in T&T, so I would be happy to hear from others with an interest.
