when yuh wah eat some grill food leh meh know! ah always wonder why trinis does steam dey meat before grillin it- wen ah was in trini last winter dey were always grilling (dey does say BBQ, dey doh know de diffrence!) everywhere, buh dey were always steaming dey met before dey threw it over de fire!

tanx, ah intend tuh tryout nex year to, is noh de first time ah do somting like dis, de first time was in 2004- Trini was almost represented in de world bbq association competition an ah was de captain ah de team ah 4 people, me being die only bonafide trini.
we were sponsored by KRAFT FOODS and TIDCO and din make it tuh de finals becaw TIDCO din send T&T TShirts or Polo Shirts on time (dey never came) which was required tuh represent yuh country!!!! even though dey knew from de rules from de start!

Grilling- placing and cooking your food over ah direct heat source at ah temperature of 260°C- 360°C

BBQing- placing and cooking your food with an indirect heat source of maximal 120°C, working with marinades and mopping sauces ( not tuh be mix up wid smoking, eh, which is ah science in itself)

I enjoyed all dem pictures , I meh self like to get behind the grill and try some new techniques and recipes , but you way ahead of the game .Whenever yuh planning on traveling to NJ , gimme a shout out ,maybe we could do some grilling in de backyard .We could even invite GuyGuy .
